OUR SHOW PROGRAM
Evaluated beyond appearance.
Showing gives us the opportunity to have our cats evaluated against the Maine Coon breed standard while allowing us to continually learn, observe, and refine our breeding program.
CURRENTLY SHOWING WITH TICA
WHY WE SHOW
More than ribbons and titles.
Showing gives us an opportunity to step outside our own perspective and have our cats evaluated in a structured environment alongside other Maine Coons.
Through the show hall, we can observe qualities such as structure, balance, type, presentation, and temperament while continuing to develop our own understanding of the breed standard. The experience also allows us to learn from judges, exhibitors, breeders, and the cats themselves.
For HausWhiskerfell, a title is something to celebrate, but it is not the sole purpose of showing. What matters most is what we learn from each experience and how that knowledge helps inform thoughtful decisions for the generations ahead.
IN THE SHOW HALL
The cats representing HausWhiskerfell.
Each cat brings something different into the show hall. Their experiences give us another opportunity to observe their development, temperament, presentation, and how they are evaluated against the breed standard.
DOUBLE GRAND CHAMPION ALTER · REGIONAL WINNER
Dalena
Blue Classic Tabby
A journey shaped in the show hall.
Dalena’s show journey has given us the opportunity to watch her develop and be evaluated across multiple TICA shows. Along the way, she has earned her Double Grand Champion Alter title and recognition as a Regional Winner.
Beyond the titles, every ring has been an opportunity to observe her presentation, temperament, structure, and development while continuing to learn from the judges who evaluate her.
SHOW PROSPECT · KITTEN CLASS
Brew
Blue Smoke
Growing in the show hall.
Brew is one of the young cats we are currently evaluating through the TICA show hall. As she continues to mature, showing gives us an opportunity to observe her development, presentation, temperament, and how her structure and type are evaluated over time.
At this stage, the experience is less about titles and more about learning. Each ring gives us another perspective as Brew develops, helping us better understand both her individual qualities and the direction of our program.
SHOW ACHIEVEMENTS
Milestones along the journey.
Titles and awards mark meaningful moments in our show journey, while each experience continues to deepen how we evaluate, understand, and appreciate the cats and bloodlines connected to our program.
DALENA
SW Region's 2026 BEST MAINE COON ALTER OF THE YEAR
SW Region’s 2026 Eighteenth Best Alter of the Year
Dalena’s show journey has been an important part of our experience in the show hall, progressing through her championship titles and earning regional and breed recognition along the way.
BEYOND THE SHOW HALL
What we learn comes home with us.
Every show gives us an opportunity to observe our cats outside the familiarity of home—from how they respond to handling and unfamiliar surroundings to how they present themselves in the ring.
Evaluation also offers another perspective on structure, balance, type, coat, temperament, and overall presentation. We carry those observations home with us, using what we learn to continually strengthen our understanding of the breed and inform thoughtful decisions within our program.
